So, guys. I recently replaced an old motherboard on my pc (bought original pc on ebay). New mobo is an asus F2A85V-pro, and along with it I replaced the old processor. I ran into the common issue of windows 7 not working, so I've now purchased a new windows 7 disk, sadly it is an OEM copy. I don't have the original copy that the person who made my pc had, so I'm wondering. Can install this new disk without any problems?

Like Giantbucket said, as long as you have the physical win7 disk with the key code, it should work.

The main difference between OEM and Retail is that the OEM license does not allow moving the OS to a different computer, once it is installed.

Ok, thank god. I got my disk over amazon. The past week has been such a pain working over this, and anticipating deliveries. Now, will I have to clean install, or can I just have it repair my computer.
