New GPU and HDD for Medium level Build

I have been needing some new computer hardware, but not sure what brand/model. I need a good 500gb HDD for recording gameplay on and a good GPU (preferably Radeon 7000 series). I have a intl i3-3220 Dual core CPU.

Price limits:
HDD: $75
GPU: $175

You could go for a 1TB seagate or WD HDD for around 60$ i believe.

For the GPU, you could look at the r9 270 from the r9 series, which is basically a lower clocked 270x. That or you can get a 7870 with that price range i think.
