How much should I overclock my CPU?

What model is your CPU? My guess would be a Q8200 based on speed alone, but you need to provide the model number. What motherboard do you have? Did you build this system, or is it a pre-built system? Most OEM pre-built systems are not able to be overclocked.

I would start with one of the hundreds of overclocking tutorials found on the web. A Google search of how to overclock your specific CPU would be a good place to start.

There is a sticky right at the top of this forum with a lot of information to get you started.

None of that information includes the specific CPU model number. You can find the CPU model number by going to "Start" -> "Computer" -> "System Properties".
