Ok, so I'm trying to use Wuala cloud storage, and it apparently requires Java. On the installation process, it quits and says it was interrupted. I then went and manually (offline) installed it, with the same results.
Someone mentioned uninstalling it first, but there's no entry in the list of programs to uninstall, but there is a link in Windows Control panel, and when I go online and check it, the Java website says it's installed.

Tried JavaRa, no luck, did a system restore to before it was installed, did the offline install , same results. Ran system file checker, all comes back fine.
I'd like to get to my Wuala files, and can always use the old machine with XP on it, but I'd like to use it on Vista.

Edit: also ran the java install file as admin, no luck there either.

Perhaps a program is stopping the installation. Like AntiVirus or AntiSpywear. Just a suggestion. Maybe try installing Java in safe mode.

I tried in safe mode, I should have mentioned that. The install progress bar goes all the way across, and when you think it's going to complete, it gives the interrupted error.

Ok that's odd. Does it give a error message? Are you sure it didn't finish? Maybe it's the Wuala is the problem. You can go into your Control Panel and look for Java in there. If it's in there then it did get installed.

It's not Wuala, as I've tried installing the offline version of Java by itself, and same result. it shows up in control panel, but not in the list of programs to remove. the Java site also says it's installed. but when I try to install Wuala, it tries to install Java anyway and gets the same error.Java Basically says it was interrupted before install can complete.

Probably have to either contact Java customer support or Wuala for a work around.
