Whenever I'm playing a Steam game, about ten minutes in, my screen goes black and my monitor will either state there is no signal or its shows my desktop but I can't move the cursor or click anything. Sometimes when I'm able to recover, it displays "Display Driver Stopped Responding and has Recovered". If it doesn't recover, which is most of the time, I have to restart my computer, but when I try starting it back up my monitor doesn't pick up the signal until several tries later.
My graphics card is a Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 and I'm running Windows 8 64 bit.

this is common with overclocking (even it may occur with factory overclocked cards)
If your card is not OC, then try to change your driver with one from your card manufacture website or latest nvidia driver

Yup it happens to me as well. If you overclock you just need to reapply the settings. I usually have 2 settings of overclocking for games that bitch and cry on a certain overclock setting. So basicly when I play a game that doesn't like my primary setting I change it to the lower one that it has no issues.
