First build here. Everything seems to power up just fine, the lights and fans all work, but the display is not working. Tried two different monitors, tried VGA, DVI, and HDMI, and nothing works. I tried using the GPU and the onboard graphics and still no luck. Not sure where to go from here.

Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-3350P 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: Asus Z77-A ATX LGA1155 Motherboard

Solution
With that board, without booting, you can just order a BIOS chip and replace the original one (it's on socket).
Let's check firstly the board's BIOS version.
There's a thin bar code sticker on the motherboard. What are the last separated 4 digits on that sticker?

Is your monitor working? Does it say it can't detect anything, says it's going into powersave mode, let you use the menu buttons, etc.? If yes, I had a similar problem too when I built my rig. For me, the problem was the graphics card, it wasn't properly sitting in its PCIe slot and I had to push down harder then I expected to get it to click in. Once I did that and turned the computer back on it worked perfectly.

Yeah, when I power up the computer the monitor goes from digital to analog and then just goes into sleep mode. I didn't try to use the menu buttons. I will double check the graphics card again.

Edit: GPU is definitely in there good. Menu buttons work on the monitor. Just says "no signal" and then goes to sleep. Still no display.

Right now this is the only graphics card I have. I have another one but it's not on me and it's ancient compared to the new one. I'm not using any adapters and I'm pretty sure the PCIe cables are connected properly. How do I go about a BIOS update with no monitor?
