Budget Graphics Card for £90?

Hello!

I just built my first PC and I'm trying to decide on a GPU. My budget is £90, £95 the most including delivery. I know I'm not going to get anything amazing with that but I'm only looking for something to play BF4, WarZ, and maybe some new games. Hoping to play on medium to high settings. I am going away next year and cannot take the PC so I will buy a good GPU then. I prefer using NVIDIA, but if ATI is significantly better then I'll probably go for that but options for each brand would be nice. All I've managed to find is a GTX 650 Ti 1GB by LeadTek for £90 inc. delivery. I'm in the UK.

My setup:
Aerocool Dead Silence Cube mATX (GPU length 25 - 32cm accepted)
21.5" 1920x1080 Monitor 60Hz
Gigabyte H87 HD3 Motherboard
Intel i5 4570
8GB Kingston HyperX Black
1TB 7200rpm
650w PSU

Also just wondering even with a GPU such as GTX 760, could I have gotten away with a 600w PSU? And so I can do it myself in the future, how do you compare a ATI GPU to a NVIDIA GPU? What are you meant to look for?

To compare two graphics cards, just google search "*so and so gpu* benchmarks". Chances are someone's made a graph of fps compared to other GPU's in a few games. Then you just compare the two's fps, and decide which is better for its price. Yes, you could've gotten away with probably a 500W PSU, that's the minimum recommended by Nvidia for a build with the 760. As for the GPU, that 650 ti is probably a good choice, it should get about 40 fps in BF4 on High, and will perform better than the AMD 7790/7770 (judging by this chart: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/battlefield-4-graphics-card-performance,3634-7.html).

You could have gotten away with 600W, but I wouldn't sweat that too much. The Radeon v. Nvidia debate can get rather lengthy, but I will try to short story it for you. From low range cards up to mid level enthusiast grade cards, both manufacturers have similar performance and pricing. For instance the R9 270x and the GTX 760 have relatively similar performance and are basically the same price. Where the two differ is in the high end GPUs like the R9 290x and the GTX 780Ti and GTX Titan. Once you reach the high end cards, Radeon typically offers better performance per dollar over Nvidia.

Serious, you can get a r7850 2GB for like £80-90 new on ebay now. overclocked easy to 1200/1325, I run 2 in CF off a 550w 46amp XFX psu no problem, they don't use much power at all.

Thanks for your help everyone. I learned a lot from all your answers. Just judging from the 2 charts involving BF4 FPS, the 650 Ti seems to be the best choice then. Oh and the reason I wanted to know about the PSU was that Corsair do 600w 2cm smaller than my OCZ 650w but I think the extra w will help if I buy a card 2 years from now. Anyway thanks again much appreciated!

Is that ASUS one actually real? e.g. nothing in the specs incorrect? Because when I was looking, on that website that ASUS is cheaper than all the non Ti versions as well! If its real, that would be great. It looks big though so not sure about that.

I couldn't find a new 7850 for under £100. Thats why I said 650Ti. I have no idea about overclocking.

I honestly wouldn't bother with a 1GB card, you will find a 7850 2GB on ebay for that price if you hold out, I got one 3 months ago for £92, Hell if you lived close to me I would sell you 1 of mine for £60 (boxed etc) I'm buying a 290x soon
