Recall may not be the correct term. But I own a Asrock P67 extreme 6 and I missed the deadline to have it replaced. It is working fine with the exception that I cannot update the BIOS. I believe this is due to the recall. 3 questions:
1. Any suggestions to replace motherboard using current hardware listed below, that would give me gaming performance and overclockability? Specific models?
2. Any suggestions to work around and update BIOS so I can take advantage of the newer UEFI program?
3. What is the down side to owning this non updated (recalled) motherboard?
