Why can't my buddy play this game?

So this game requires 256mbs of dedicated RAM to play. My buddy has an Intel 4000 integrated GPU. Apparently, the 4000 only has like 16mbs of dedication. Isnt the GPU supposed to take away some of your memory to make up for the dedication? Or is my buddy sol because he doesn't have enough dedication? He has 8GBs of RAM btw. Also, the game is Warframe.

Have a look in the bios of the board, or the laptop
There may be a setting where you can increase the amount of ram to reserve for the HD 4000 on board gpu.

If he has 8gb of total system ram it should allow you to set it to 512Mb or more.
It will depend on how new the system or laptop is.
