For my new build, I am going to use the Asus Sabertooth Z87 for mother board and GeForce GTX780.

For memory I'm considering either one of :

or

which one is better overall, and which one lasts longer? I want the one that doesn't heat up too much without a separate cooler than the CPU cooler since that's the only cooler i'll be using in my build.

Love em, I've got the 32GB set of 2400 in my IB and the 32 of 2666 in my Haswell, most of my Haswell client builds have been the 2133 or 2400 Tridents ranginging from 8GB for the gaming rigs up through 32GB for the high end business type rigs

If going with a K model CPU would suggest the following with your mobo

Both are better than the Corsaiers, which is the better of the two you were looking at, at yes, the 2133 set will work fine with the Sabertooth (as will the Tridents in 2400, which are also less than the Corsairs

the Tridents are the best sticks I've found for use with Haswell
