Genuine Intel cpu's will come with stock heatsink and fan and will have a grease compound pad attached to the heatsink already. Peel off the insulation cover before installing.
If buying an aftermarket cooler they often supply their own grease tube.

welcome just so you know, the pad is only a one time use only. If you ever remove the heatsink for whatever reason, will need to clean off and apply new thermal compound as the pad will have lost it's contact efficiency creating air pockets.
