heres where the total pc part noob flourishes inside of me, whats SLI? also in the future i plan to upgrade and have more than one gpu do you know of any that i can do this with and be compatible?

The use of more than one NVidia graphics card together to make a more powerful graphics solution (what you do want to do) is known as SLI (Scalable Link Interface). The motherboard needs to provide support for that and in this case, the MSI B85-G41 does not.
Note: The use of two or more AMD video cards together is known as CrossFire-X (aka "X-Fire"), the MSI board does support that, you could look into an AMD R9-290 here and be prepared to add another later
