can win8 be install on a virtual machine if the host does not have dedicated graphics card?

Want to install Windows 8 on virtualbox. Host machine has core i5 2400 processor and 8gb ddr3 Ram @1333Mhz, However, no dedicated graphics card. I have intel hd 2000 inbuilt graphics with 1664 of VRAM, is that enough for a smooth run of windows 8 on virtual box ?

  1. Yes. Give the VM enough RAM, and it will work just fine. It does not need a dedicated graphics card.

What are you using this VM for?
  2. You may need to enable virtualization in the BIOS (if it's not enabled by default).
