Advice on cpu fan touching memory

There's a pic. It's touching. I just installed that fan for a push pull.

I used to have just one fan blowing into the heatsink towards the ram, not out the back. The temps seemed Lower in the case then...
Thoughts on all this?

Sometimes push rather than push/pull works better. But you just have to try it.
As for the ram, as long as its not hitting the blades, and the ram isnt being bent you should have no issues.

What if I use one cpu fan and push air through the heatsink but not towards the back, but towards the ram?

is your mobo support changing mem setup? u got 2 empty slot for ram...
if u don't gonna add ram in a while, u can try moved the ram to the second slot and the four slot

If you change the direction it will disrupt the airflow in the case.

It's probably fine, but if you're concerned about the contact (which is a good thing to be concerned about) you can file down the plastic frame a bit to reduce the contact.

I may just switch the ram to 2 and 4 then get a liquid cooling later down the road.

If it boot up with slot 2 4, Then it's all good..

no performance difference from 1 3 and 2 4 as far as I known...
but some system may not accept that configuration, but if your can than it's ok
