I was recently given a NVIDIA GTX 480 I have it plugged into the PCIE port and connected it to my power supply however it doesn't show up in the device manager and if I boot my pc and go into the BIOS settings it's still undetected, also the monitor will not display from the integrated graphics VGA or the cards DVI cable when I restart my computer with it plugged in. I'm at loss as to what is going on, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure that the card is seated properly in the PCI-E slot. You'll hear a click when it's in
