So I've been trying to get parts together for building a gaming PC (keep in mind I'm fairly new) This is what i have so far: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2naRg
Cooling and power supplies aren't my forte and because of that I haven't chosen a case either, so if anyone could recommend a few CPU coolers, decent power supply and a case that isn't massive I would be extremely grateful. Final question is pretty basic: will this set-up work and if not why? My budget is around $1900-$2200, obviously preferably towards the smaller figure. Thanks

of the list you have the only thing that is out of place really is the graphics card upgrade that to a gtx 780 and get yourself some decent cooling for the cpu and you will be stomping for years and while the speed on that ram is high the latency is gonna hurt you might want to come down to 2133 at a 9 cas and it will really increase actual speed like these are out of stock http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226199 but they are beasts and can easily overclock to 2400 but look for something with similar timings

Id look at this psu Antec High Current Gamer 620W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
I have it and it works great with my i5 and OC gtx 760 plus its reliable and fully modular. PS with tht kind of budget you should get atleast a 280x for gaming or mabye a 770 with that budget
