I need to wipe it because I might have virus but the problem is I only have one copy of widows that's already been activated. And it either needs I work again or there needs to be a way to wipe without deleting the os

I'm assuming your Windows is legal. That means you have a serial number, either on a DVD, or on a sticker inside the PC case, or among the paperwork you got with the PC. Back up your personal files, format the hard drive, reinstall Windows. The serial number should work again - you don't have to buy Windows again.

As long as you haven't changed any components, there is no problem re-activating windows on a re-install. It is only when you change the MB or too many components all at once that you will run into issues! What is the nature of your problem?
