My current pc setup(about 4 years old) is as follows:
Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93 GHz
Asus P5kPL-AM/PM motherboard
KIngston 2 x 2 GB DDR2 400 MHz Ram
Seagate 500 GB HDD
9400 GT 1 GB gpu
I-Ball 400 W PSU
I am looking to upgrade my PC in a few months but right now I am looking to upgrading my GPU as a short term measure for playing games released in 2012 and 2013. My current rig cannot even run games like Simcity, Pes 2014 and FIFA 13. They all lag. I amm looking to buying an used HD 5450 or HD 6450 for the time being.
Will my motherboard be able to run either of those cards? Do I need to upgrade my PSU?
