Can't decide between the Gigabyte GA-Z87MX-D3H and ASUS Maximus VI Gene.
The ASUS seems better (I will OC) but I'm going for a black/blue build which the Gigabyte would look better with.

Thoughts? :)

Intel Core i5-4670K (OC to 4ghz+)
Corsair H100i
Corsair Vengance 8GB
Samsung 120GB SSD
Western Digital 1TB 7200RPM
Asus GeForce GTX 770 (SLI in future)
Corsair 350D Window
Corsair RM 750W

What's your budget?

This post will be quite helpful for you, especially while choosing the color combination.

Well all the mATX z87 boards seem to be under £200 so any is fine. However there isn't many of them from what I can see.

I mainly want to know if sacrificing the extra features from the ASUS Maximus VI Gene would be worth going for the Gigabyte GA-Z87MX-D3H or the ASUS Z87 Gryphon(+thermal kit) for the better colour theme for my build

I don't think going for GRYPHON is a bad thing, if you don't mind sacrificing "ROG SupremeFX Audio 8-Channel High Definition Audio" & "Max. RAM frequency of 3000 (OC), as compared to 1866). Also, it's cheaper.

I'd also loose 2 extra SATA ports, mPCIe, some bios features + it's not much cheaper with the armor kit aswell. However I've decided that I'm gonna go with the Gryphon because it will just match my whole build's colour theme and it's not too much difference imo.

Thanks for helping me out vinakyumar5320.
