Hello, I just bought a 780 Classified, and initially i was having trouble installing it in my case, as I was getting no input, and got bios sounds as One Long Beep with Three Short beeps. Then the beeping changed when I fixed the Ram to One long beep and two short beeps repeatedly. I reseated the card three times, then it went away. I finally was enjoying some BF4, and getting 100 fps, and after playing for like3 hours, was just surfing the net, the input was suddenly lost and my mobo started beeping again, the long beep with the two short beeps. What could this be? Is it my psU? should I replace it? or something else?

Then it could be a PSU problem.
You need at least a 700 watt quality PSU.
You can choose any of the PSUs given below which fit in your budget :
1) Corsair HX 750 (non modular) (80+ silver)
2) Seasonic X-series 750 watt PSU (80+gold) (modular)
3) XFX 750 watt. (80+bronze) (non modular)
My personal choice - Seasonic
(try fixing the RAM or use another one if you have to test if there's a RAM problem or not. If RAM's OK its certainly your PSU,change it)

it can be that the GPU becomes unseated right? bc of the weight? otherwise yeah I'm looking into the PSU.

Yeah, that might be another issue. Maybe PCI-E pins are loose or GPU might not be properly seated. If you're changing the PSU anyway, then its fine. Try seating GPU by putting pressure on one end of the slot, then on the other end. Fiddle the GPU and see if it works.so are you saying that the PCIE slot may be damaged. Would it matter much if I put the GPU into another PCIE slot, would it affect performance?

I believe so, yes.ok i think I'm going to get the corsair cx 750. hopefully it'll solve it. DO you think it'll make my fps go up? and a nagging question I'm having is why was I able to run the GPU for like 3 hours w/ no probe?
I don't think PSU if of any issue now. If you said that your GPU was running fine on 3rd slot(v2.0), then problem is solved.
Don't worry for performance as it would be equivalent for both slots, but 3rd slot may have slightly lower memory bandwith which should not be a problem if you're not using a triple monitor setup or going higher than 1080p.
