Hi, I'm not sure if this is in the right category, please let me know if it isn't and/or where I can re-post it.

Over the past few weeks, my computer has been freezing randomly. The freezing occurs when I am playing games and even when just browsing the internet. I have a second monitor that I have plugged into my motherboard that flashes bright colors rapidly when my main monitor freezes. The freezes occur with and without the second monitor plugged in. Could this mean it may not be a graphics card issue? I built my computer this past October (4 months ago).

Specs: AMD Radeon HD 7950
EVGA 600B 600W PSU
ASRock Z77 Extreme 3
Intel Core i7-2600 @ 3.4 GHz
12 GB DDR3 (not sure what frequency)

More about : computer freezes randomly monitor flashes colours rapidly

I just had the same thing happen, and we have very similar specs. I wish more people had answers. Do you still get this problem? For the first 15 minutes my computer was loading things pretty slowly, but it seems to be picking up speed now.

Yea I still get this problem. It doesn't seem to have increased in frequency but still occurs quite often. I still have no idea what causes it. I agree, I wish more people had answers, but there are a million things that could be wrong here.
