The SSHD above is the best choice for a BOOT DRIVE for Windows. If it's a secondary drive it won't make much difference likely.

I linked the cheapest one which had fine reviews though I'd recommend THIS ONE instead as a secondary drive as it's quieter:

The WD drive allows you to use the Acronis True Image software for backup:

Seagate offers EXACTLY the same program but it's named "Seagate Disc Wizard" and here's the manual:
http://www.seagate.com/files/www-content/support-content/downloads/discwizard/_shared/docs/dw_ug.en.14382.pdf

This program (Acronis True Image or DiscWizard) can make a compressed BACKUP IMAGE of your Windows partition to another drive or partition (better another drive).

*I strongly recommend TWO DRIVES in a system to make a backup Image of Windows. If your current one is fine, use the 2TB as a secondary for backup. If it's SLOW, then consider the SSHD above, partition it, then use the OLD drive to store the BACKUP IMAGE of the Windows partition (periodically update the backup).

STEAM and other games, movies etc can all go to the 2TB drive. I have Windows on a small SSD, with Steam on a 2TB HDD (E:\STEAM). Non-Steam games are at E:\GAMES, and I have a "Downloads", "Media" and "Backup" folders as well on this drive.

Other:
1) Many Seagate drives have FIRMWARE updates. Make sure to check if you get a Seagate, especially if it's an SSHD.

2) SSHD's, like SSD's probably need "AHCI" for SATA to be set in the motheboard BIOS. You need to do so prior to installing Windows. If it's currently set to "IDE" and you're cloning then you need to apply the workaround to the registry prior to changing the BIOS to AHCI before you do anything.

3) Use the best SATA controller for the Windows drive, especially for an SSHD/SSD. You may not know which one. If you see INTEL then it's probably the best one.
