Hi I switched to a rampage iv black edition from a rampage iv extreme and have loss around 30 to 40 fps. I have also loss around 200 points in the valley benchmark.

I am running the same cards 2 gtx 780 classifieds and the same cpu a 3930k so everything is the same except the motherboard all overclocks the same also does anyone know what could be going on I have also installed the pcie 3.0 patch and nothing could it be that this board is for the new chips and do you think that would bring my fps back or what do you think the problem is.

Also I need to add that I can put the cards in a different system with a 4770k and they work great so its not the cards I used my friends 780 sc cards and getting the same problem 30 to 40 fps less than what I had with the rampage iv extreme.
Thanks

Did you re-load Windows 7/8 from scratch when you swapped motherboards? (sorry, but you Must.... if the boards are very similar, they will sometimes boot but never work 100% right....)

Also, unless you had a Full-Retail version of Windows 7/8 you'll need to buy a new copy .... MS license is keyed to MB/CPU and won't let you move it.

NOTE: I have called MS every time I've tried this, sometimes they "let me re-use" Most times they do not.....
