This will be my first gaming pc build. I am wondering if this combo will work.

Mother board: ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

CPU: AMD FX-8320 Vishera 3.5GHz (4.0GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W Eight-Core

GPU: EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-2765-KR GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-bit GDDR5

I just want to make sure there will be no connection issues with the gpu and mobo.

Any help and thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Don't cheap out on the power supply. Get a good brands like Corsair, Antec,, XFX, or Seasonic. Get 600 or 650watts (you could get 500 or 550 and save $5 or $10 but is will run harder and hotter and will be the 1st component you Have to replace when you want to upgrade to a GTX770, or GTX780....)

BTW, get a 990 chipset motherboard that was recommended for future Dual GPU support and more I/O, its worth the few extra bucks up front...
