Here's my dilemma. I have a Zalman ZM-T2, with bottom mounting PSU.

The graphics card, GeForce GTX 650ti, is mounted roughly 2,5 inches above the psu on the top slot.
With the case closed, no side fan, it's running at about 34-35 degrees C, with the left side open on the case, it stays at about 30 degrees. I would keep the case open but dust settles in.

I want to keep the graphics card cool. I also have an intake side fan, that takes the temperature down to 29-30 degrees in idle, but it shoots fine white dust in the graphics card's parts over time.

Is it safe for the PSU to be flipped with the ventilator facing the graphics card, evacuating the air released from the graphics card?

Hi
Not really a good idea as although it will cool the graphics card a small amount it will heat up the PSU.
Why not fit a filter to the side fan which will stop the dust entering.

Right. That's kind of what I was afraid of. The side intake and front exhaust fans seemed to keep the temperatures lower overall.
I'll try a filter a see how it works.
Thanks, man.
