I'm still in the process of doing my first test boot, I have the case PSW plugged into the PWRSW on the z87 sabertooth, I checked to make sure everything is completely connected and from what I can see it sure does look like it. Idk what to do... I even tried shortening the PWRSW pins with a screwdriver like I saw in newegg's pc building guide. Thanks for the help in advance and btw I'm still fairly new to pc building and this site. :)

Guess what, I found out that all along it was my dead on arrival psu, I took my psu to my local computer hardware store and they tested it. The fan didn't even start, I knew there had to be something wrong. I appreciate the help though and I'm sorry it took a while to respond, I just didn't know what else to say and I did my research before I got these specs so everything was compatible. I'll take the time to post my specs later if you want. Now I get to return this psu and wait! Joy oh joy

Ahh, silly ole me... that is the power reset switch. When I was looking I couldn't find the PW label on my mobo manual, can it be labeled as something other then PW?

That should be right, it is in the middle of the 10 pin connection, the bottom two pins, something like this

X-X----XXXX
XX---OO-XX

Where X is a pin, - is empty, and O is the pins you need. If you are plugging into this, have you tried flipping the connection around as you may be plugging it in backwards? Also does the mobo come with a block that plugs into these pins to simplify?

Not sure, what are all of your components? Also when plugging in the 24 pin connector did you make sure to place the 4 pins under the little hooks on the 20 pin side so that the power cable is properly seated?
