This is my config,
i5-3450
Asus P8Z77 v
Seasonic X-1050Watt psu
Plait 660ti jetstream gpu.
Now i want to sli it with palit reference 660ti card having same 2gb mem like I already have one(but non refrence model). so all sli requirements are fulfilled.
Could you please suggest me sli-ing a non reference card with a reference model is ok or not in terms of performance and temp? and is there any better alternative because the same palit model is not available right now in my area. The reference one will lie below the non refrence model so the backside of the refrence model will have sufficient air flow. I am using cm storm enforcer cabinet with 2X200mm and 1X120mm coolermaster fans. Thanks for reading. Please help....

Solution
yes, you could use your current GPU as the dedicated PhysX card....and a newer GPU would outperform your proposed SLI in most (if not all) cases

Thanks a lot for answers. But if i upgrade to a single gtx 770 or higher is there any possible use of this card? Can i use it as physx processor in that case? Is it will be helpful? Effective? Pls suggest....

That's great! So different series card can be used efficiently in physx and normal gpu. But will it increase game fps? And if so then to what extent? But this 660ti in sli will outperform any 780 in most cases?

I have not said that. I only want to know if 1 660ti for physx and 1 gtx 770 together will out perform a slied 660 ti (2way) or not? So that I can get what is vfm. Because 660 & 770 in sli is not always stable. But thanks a lot for the link.
