Hi everyone,
Just want to ask for an advise - want to build high-performance and quiet gaming PC and don't know what case to choose at all and what motherboard will fit me.
I'm new to water cooling and overclocking, so really need a lot of help.
I want to have this parts(budget around 3k $) :
i7-4770K
2x Radeon R9 290X(PowerColor water cooled one if the price will be OK)
Memory 4gb x 4 @ 1600/1866 (kit) CL 9 - I think any kit do
PSU @ 1250W - something like OCZ ZX Series 1250W
Motherboard - I think GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-OC (rev. 1.0) will do the trick, but I don't think I need such a motherboard. Want to have good overclock abilities, install waterblock on it, want to have "safe boot" and "memory reset", but I'm not really good overclocker so diagnostic inputs are not necessary. Also 4 x16 PCI-E not necessery, I don't think I would like to install two additional graphic cards(but who knows...)
HDD 3 tb and ssd for 256-512 gb.

want a case that can fit all of that + water cooling parts. Something like in scheme below.
can't insert image right now (clickable)
Maybe the scheme isn't that much accurate but that airflow makes I thinks is the best. At the whitespace will be radiator maybe? It seems like a pretty big thing(51.5 cm for 4-fan? while the standart case is something like 55-60 cm in width).
Also I want to reach 4.7-5 ghz(or at least 4.5 in day-to-day mode) on CPU and there will be 2 hot video cards, so will that meet 4-fan 30 fpi radiator if I will put 140mm fans? And what about dust & noise cover?

So, I need an advise of what case, cooling stuff and motherboard shoud I buy for this system. Also don't know about water cooling monitor system - it costs a lot of money and I don't think it will give any advantage. Also don't really want pretty system, so monstrous case with high-performance stuff in it will do.

Looked on the koolance stuff, it seems to be pretty good thing.
PS also, does i7-4770K really requires scalping(i.e removing heat plate and replacing thermal interface on liquid metal? A lot of people say that it could save 5 to 25 degrees).

As far as quiet cases go, I think the Fractal Design Define R4 is the most popular (or at least I see the most builds with it among quiet cases).

I used a Nanoxia Deep Silence 1 for my build, and have been very happy with it. It is quieter then many laptops I have seen, and I am using an non-overclocked 4930K and GTX 780. This case is also very big. I don't think you will have any trouble fitting anything within it. It has plenty of fan slots to mount the water cooling, and can accommodate XL-ATX boards too. Going from side to side, my GTX 780 had plenty of room between itself and the storage bays, and in any case most were removable if that were an issue. Going from top to bottom, even with an XL-ATX board you would have good clearance for the mobo and the PSU. Finally, as far as width goes, my CPU cooler is the very large Noctua NH-D14 SE2011, and there was plenty of clearance with the relevant side panel.

Seems that Fractal Design Define XL R2 is something that can actually fit 4-fan radiator inside of the case with a bit of modding. Do 2 more holes for fans on top(or remove the default cover and replace it with something better) and it will be good enough. Insert a lot of 140mm fans all over the place to blow air in(covered with dust&noise) and open blow-out 4 fans on top. Maybe short loop for the hdd and ssd.

Anybody have any ideas of the case that can fit 4-fan radiator inside of the case on the top panel?
PS hmm, maybe I can order not the case but the whole table? Or maybe custom-made case? Or maybe custom-made top panel for that case(I like it).
