hey peoples!

TL: DR can you suggest a Full modular PSU rated at 500-600W 650W that is roughly £90 that has good reviews. I've been looking at HARDOCP and found: Corsair RM Series, and Silverstone Strider Plus. (the RM series would actually get a pass after lot 1338 I think since Corsair have rectified the issues with the fan not turning on etc).

I'm not building my pc until march and will be running an OCed 3570k and a OCed GTX 760 (water cooled), in my current PC my OCZ is failing (can hear it arcing sometimes when I turn it on), so need to buy a PSU now to keep me going till I build my new rig. Can't remember but I think the PSU calculator said to go with a 400+ rated psu.

edit: going for 650W instead!

My best advice for you would be to wait until end of february or beginning of march cause PC parts prices are very flexible; maybe you will find something better in 2 months or maybe not you will know better then :)
If I may ask if youre building a new PC why choose an old CPU why not go with an 4670k ?
As far as those 2 go i'd choose the Corsair although i'm very happy with my Cooler Master Vanguard 700w...survives all kinds of torture ;)

I'm using an older CPU as I understand that OCing performance of the 3570k is better than the 4670k. And when I want to upgrade the cpu again I'll just buy another Motherboard with the compatible socket.

I have a Fatal1ty, so obviously I'm a little bit partial (3+ years running good).

Might be a little bit overkill, but it's solid nonetheless.

The other two you suggested are also good products, but I would lean toward the Silverstone.

Decided to go fora 650W psu, gives me head room to upgrade to SLI in the back end of the year... not sure about the EVGA Supernova since the 1500W version failed Hardocp.com, if the highend PSU fails, I assume that the others of the same series is crap.

Still open for more suggestions.
