Hi, I have an i5 4430, 12GB DDR3 RAM (vengeance), B85 mobo, 500GB Sata Seagate and 350GB WD Sata HDD. I recently bought a GTX 770 which I plan to run but my current PSU is a Corsair VS 450 and I'm confused whether I need to go in for a Cooler Master Thunder 700W or a Corsair VS650 be enough?

I'm going crazy trying to decide! Pls help!

It's written 85% but it's not certified. While, it doesn't mean VS Series are poor, but yes, going for a certified PSU is generally a good practice, and also is slightly more costly also.

GO with Corsair. If possible, buy the CX series, instead of VS. But then, since you already own a VS series PSU, and if you didn't have any problem with that, you can very well opt for VS450. But, no Cooler Master.

Tks..does that mean, the 650 Corsair is good to go and I don't need the Cooler master thunder 700W? Will the 650 be enough to run the rest of the PC given my config above?

Yes, it'll be good. 650W will be good. But, I am not sure about the efficiency of VS series. It's not certified. CX series is 80+ Bronze certified.

Anyway, VS650 will be good for you.
