Hi all,
Just built a new rig and the screen is black. The mobo beeps once, there is a long pause then there is a long beep followed by four short beeps. Mobo manual says this means Hardware component failure.
I've followed all the steps in http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems already. No help.
MY rig:
Mobo: Asus Z87-Pro
GPU: Asus Nvidia GTX 770
Ram: G-Skill 8gb (2x4gb)
Case: CM690 II (Coolermaster)
CPU Fan: Noctua NH-D14
Only thing I can think of is that when i was screwing in the mobo to the stand offs i may have done them a bit too tight. Otherwise the GTX770 doesn't have a vga port and my monitor didnt come with an hdmi cable (nor the GPU).
I've plugged the monitor into the mobos vga port. But nothing.
