Hello,

This is the first time is post something here, so I hope this is the right place.
I'm running on a Ubuntu and want to install Linux mint 16 on it.
I have got to the boot menu but it doesn't give me options. It only shows the boot priority. And I'm using a usb to boot since I'm doing it on a netbook. Help?

I'm using a Aspire one with Ubuntu.
Manufactured in 2010.

Thank you!

I don't have any options in the boot menu.
It only shows the boot priority order.

Then, place the USB Drive on top of the hard drive in the priority list.

After F2, have you used the left or right arrow keys to select the Main menu ?

As I said, I can't select anything. It's only showing it.

And, getting the main menu? If yes press the down key until F12 Boot Menu is selected, then press <F5> to change it to Enabled.

I'm getting the main menu, but I can only select system day and Time. Not F12 boot menu or the other options, they are all grey colored.

It might be a BIOS limitation then. Try contacting Acer.

Note: Not all Acer notebooks or netbooks have the F12 Boot Menu feature. Computers that do not have the F12 Boot Menu feature will not be able to enable the feature within the BIOS.
