New HD Acer Recovery Disk not working

replaced Acer Aspire M5100 500GB SATA-150 hd with new WD
1TB SATA6 . Original Acer recovery discs will not work....recovered 50% at first then quit....now cannot boot from recovery disk.

Did you check the disks for scratches, dirt, etc...? Did you make sure the disks will work with a non-Acer drive? Some restore disks won't run unless they detect the same hard drive they were installed on or it will create a smaller disk image than the drive can hold.

You can see if the disks boot on another computer, if not, contact ACER for a replacement set of disks.
