I´am essembling (sorry for bad english) a pc for an uncle for a friend, he is a proffessional photgrapher and i'am wondering, what would be better:
500$ 4930k vs 500$ish xeon e5
and
Gtx 780ti (3gb) or titan (6gb) vs quadro (2gb)

I don't think he needs such powerful cards if all he does is photo editing.

Video editing is whole different story. But photo editing doesn't require that much power, you could probably settle for a i5 quad-core, 8GB of RAM and a GTX-760 and save your uncle a lot of money.

Or if you're not sure I would recommend you look at the system requirements for the software he'll be using. Just to make sure you're not picking something too overkill.
