install win7 on a laptop

so wanna install a win7 in my old laptop but wanna know if the usb port and audio jack, disc reader will work after that cause in a dekstop you need to install the motherboard drivers, wanna know how is it with laptops :)

Go to your manufacturer website, in the "Support/Download" section, first select your laptop model, then see if there are drivers available for Windows 7.
