hey guys, Im planning on custom assembling a PC. Im trying to cramp up a good processor and a graphics card with 8 Gb RAM and 1 TB Harddisk..
But the calculated budget exceeds my budget like 4 or 5K..
Current Components:
AMD FX 8320 3.5 ghz Rs 10000
Radeon 7750 1 GB DDR 5 Rs 7100
Gigabyte GA 78LMT S2PT Mobo Rs 3180
Kingston HyperX 8 GB DDR3 Rs 4650
Zeba 500W Power Suply Unit Rs 2755
Seagate 1 TB hard disk Rs 3885
Antec X1 cabinet Rs 2489
Optical Drive Rs 1000
TOTAL : Rs 34739
Please help me lower the price bar a bit by suggesting suitable replacements ..
Purpose of this PC is solely for gaming...

Solution
The CX430 will support a 650Ti & FX-6300 with maximum load, If you want anything higher go with the Seasonic Eco 600W PSU for about 4K.

The R7 260X will be better than the 650Ti.

The FirePro V4800 is a workstation grade card, meaning their drivers are optimized for Video Editing and things rather than gaming which means they are NOT made for gaming and thus will not perform good with games.

EDIT: Typo Corrected.

@ Falcon - Remember this is a Global site
@SuhasTS - Your part selection is already very modest for gaming, except for the CPU. How much cheaper are the FX-6xxx series processors? This is probably the only place I'd further lower my specifications.

@Wolf - Thanks for ur coment.. Would u suggest that the hexa core fx 6*** series would run high graphics requiremnt games just as well as fx 8320 ??
Cutting down to an FX 6300 would save like Rs2000 for me which is a significant amount...
if the 6 series processors can run as good, then which would u suggest?

Your PSU is of very poor quality and will put your other components at danger. This is the cheapest alternative I could find:

http://www.flipkart.com/corsair-smps-cx430-430-watts-psu/p/itmdzashzdvykgzj?pid=PSUD5XZ4ZJ5YPGBU&otracker=from-search&srno=t_1&query=cx430&ref=e67b37e6-db8a-4082-b842-3c65f905af06

Remember when building a gaming PC GPU>CPU, so get a FX-4300 or FX-6300 and try to upgrade your GPU. (GPU means Graphic Card).

To reduce costs you can skip the Optical Drive, Get a Cheaper Case (Zebronics or something) and downgrade to an 250GB or 500GB HDD.

BTW He is telling the price in INR thus, he is looking at a 500$ build but prices are a 20$-25$ higher beacuse of taxes. The PS4 in India costs Rs.40000 just to give you a reference. So build should cost 300$-350$ approximately in US Dollars.

Last I heard, most games do not utilize more than four cores anyway. I'm not much of a gamer so I don't necessarily follow game design. I would say that even if a game is designed with more than four cores in mind, I don't think you'd see too much of a drop off in performance. I'm sure there are probably benchmarks out there to show this, but I don't know where.

Is a 430W SMPS adequete for running better graphics cards?? I was having the idea that a gud processor nd GPU would need higher PSU like above 500W .... Pls coment
And also, Like u suggested, i could downscale to a FX 6300 and put those extra bucks into a better GPU ...
Would u suggest an Nvidia GTX 650 Ti at 1 GB DDR5 or an R7260x having 2GB DDR5 ??
