I'm in need some advice and help here. I've very recently purchased my mobo, CPU, PSU, RAM and SSD. After upgrading the PC, I've updated the drivers from my pre-existing Windows 7 Pro such that they stay recent to the new hardware.

Problem right now is that at random intervals I hear the "USB unplugged music" being played followed by a 3-4 second freeze on both my keyboard and mouse. It feels like the computer had a momentary lock up or something like that but recovered from it.

Aprox. once a day however the computer would completely freeze up with out BSOD. The freeze up is so bad that I cannot even force the desktop to shut down by holding on to the power button. I had to turn the master power switch of in the back of the case to turn the PC down.

Things I have tried so far:
- switching USB sockets: front and back
- updating BIOS
- re-installing drivers
- checking temperature (CPU max 55C, GPU max 70)

Processor: i5 4670K
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87X-D3H
Cooling: Heatsink Hyper 212 Plus
Memory: G.Skill RipJaws F3-17000CL11D-8GBXL 2x 4GB
Video Card(s): Radeon HD 6970
Hard Disk(s): 120GB SSD
Case: Rosewill R6423-P BK ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Power Supply: COOLERMASER i600W PSU
Software: Microsoft Windows 7 pro 64 Bit

First I'll suggest trying different USB peripherals (mouse and keyboard) and ensuring all other USB devices are not connected. If you don't have problems, begin adding USB devices one at a time, and running that way for a few hours before adding another USB device. If unstable with different mouse and keyboard installed, I'll hesitantly point my finger at your PSU. About the only bad thing I discovered in researching that PSU (the CM iGreen Power 600W I'm assuming) is that the 5v output (USB runs on 5v) is on the weak side, found here http://www.pcper.com/reviews/Cases-and-Cooling/Cooler-Master-iGreen-Power-600Watt-Power-Supply/Pricing-and-Conclusions (linked to conclusion page) it could be the source of issues

USB sockets or devices are not the issue. I've tried swapping the mouse and keyboard onto my laptop, and they are fine. I've also noticed that it's actually the 3-5 sec computer lock up that causes the peripherals to be disconnected. How can I tell? While playing games I noticed that I suffer a fps drop thanks to the computer lock up. Even when watching videos, before the peripheral issues kick in, the videos would momentarily freeze. I will look up the PSU model for you. This better not be the issue since it's less than 3 months old.

Yes it's a cheap PSU, but I was trying to save money.

I ran the Memtest earlier today and this happened:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000124 (0x0000000000000000, 0xfffffa80077bc028, 0x00000000be000000, 0x000000000100110a). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 011114-8377-01.

I've just reformatted the OS and is doing a fresh install. Going to check to see if the problem still happens. Would you happen to be familiar with how I should set up the BIOS? I have the feeling that all those "Auto" settings may be causing the system to be very unstable.

I've just fresh installed Windows 7 and first BSOD after 2 freezes without BSOD. Should I be happy now that I actually have a BSOD code to work with? Here it is. I don't know what it means really, can someone decode the error and walk me through how to fix it?
