How do i restore edited files in my memory card to a previous state?

Hi,

How can i restore photos on my memory card to a previous state? On my memory card, I edited a few photos using Microsoft Picture Manager, and saved them. Due to some weird reason, those photos got corrupted. Now I want to restore them to their unedited state. I could only find solutions for recovering deleted photos, which is not what I want to do. Please advise.

Once a file has been modified and saved, that's it. There is no going back.
Unless of course you use some non-destructive application, like Adobe Lightroom.

But with Picture Manager? That's it. Once saved, there is no going back.
This is why you: A) never edit directly on the card, and B) never edit the only copy.
