With my current computer I have one main monitor a 27" 2ms 1080p 16:9 120hz monitor, and a second 17" 1024p 4:3 5ms 60hz monitor on the side. The main one is an acer HN274H BMIIID Monitor, and an Acer AL1716 as the secondary one. Today I am getting a third Acer AL1716 that will be put on the opposing side of my main monitor. I have 2 R9 270x's in Crossfire (I have enough display ports), and I am wondering if it would be possible to set up eyefinity so that I can st the 2 smaller side monitors up to go ingame without looking horrible. Such as setting their size compared to the main monitor so the picture doesn't shrink down when going over to the 3rd monitors, or shrink at all because they are 4:3. Is there a way to configure all of this perfectly or will i need 3rd party software. Thanks

You usually need the resolution to match to spread the game across three monitors. The size is irrelevant, the resolution is the issue. i.e., if your smaller monitor's max resolution is 1280x1024, then all 3 monitors would need to be at that resolution for the game to spread across the displays. The game can't render two monitors at 1280x1024, and one at 1080p.
