Cheapest BF4 Ultra Settings Graphics Card

Solution

I agree about the 780 for a few reasons. first is will definitely get you 60fps and it is more future proof than the 770 and 760.
there may be games in the future you want and a 770 may not be good enough

Oh! yeah sorry, i forgot to specify on just one 1080p monitor
And by Ultra i meant the "normal" Ultra preset, not special preferences.

I play it on ultra 1080p with my 7950 but they've shot up in price, in the new r9 series they would of been the r9 280, with the r9 280x being a rebranded 7970ghz basically.

so whichever is cheaper out of the r9 280x or gtx 770(most likely 770 ($~329) because the high end on AMD has shot up due to shortages causes by bitcoin miners)

possibly the ~$250 gtx 760 could. It's a tiny bit better than the older gtx 660ti, and many back in the day say the 660ti traded blows with the 7950, so if you can even find the gtx 760 I think you'd be happy with that.

are you talking the campaign or multiplayer?

I have an HD 7870 OC edition and I can run the campaign above 60 with ultra settings, but not a big multiplayer match, I have to bump down to high.

the 760 would be more of a sidegrade than an upgrade from r9 270x (7870ghz edition) . Either one would play at ultra just with no AA/ MSAA which kills FPS. You're going to need to save up for at least a GTX 770 (4gb version is ideal... BF4 recommends 3gb vram)

280x is just a rebranded 7970ghz. If you want mantle right now the r9 280x gets a bigger improvement, but the 7970ghz itself is no chump card. Personally I had nothing but horrible crashing with mantle and if you look up on battlelog many others are too, I'd go with the cheaper 7970. I don't think Mantle is all it's cracked up to be to be honest.
