I bought the MSI 970A-G43 mobo to pair up with a FX 6300. After looking at more reviews after I purchased it I kept seeing peopl complaining about it having nor vrm heatsink. Im kind of a noob so I dont know what that means. All I want to know if I made a bad purchase. Like I said im puttinga fx 6300 in it so will it be fine? Can I overclock?
Please leave some suggestions around this budget.

A $70 board and $120 AMD. Best just leave it a stock clock speed and enjoy your... upgrade? It should be fine, for an entry level rig. And may be a big jump over what you had.

An Asus RoG board, i7 and H100 is an easy $800, plus all the other stuff you need. So for $190 don't worry about it not being a "beast" of a rig.
