So, me & my girlfriend wanted to be able to connect her laptop to her TV so we could watch movies on a bigger screen.
Problem was, her tv has only RCA connections. So we bought an adapter just like this:

we hooked up the adapter to her laptop's VGA port, and then an RCA male-male to both the TV & the adapter.
We have tried everything but it won't show anything on her TV screen. We even tried using the "Fn" option to change the screen outputs & what not & it still won't show an image on the TV screen.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
