I was a dumb, yes that's right. I fucked up my laptop, I wanted to clean inside the fan. I successfully cleaned BUT then after putting back the component I tried to start the laptop, there was no signal, the blue led was working + Fan. Used google but couldn't find something useful. Suddenly burning smell came from inside the motherboard but the laptop still started with no signal, like before.

I maybe found out the main problem by just watching a video, I didn't apply Thermal paste. That's the reason probably.

I shouldn't have touched the laptop at the first place, I learned my lesson.

But now, do you think the mobo is death even after the led blue is working with fan but there was a smell something burned inside.
I was about to buy a voltage tester, that can be maybe useful,

I could sell the components maybe? I have the 4gb ram, wifi, 500gb HDD, keyboard and LCD.
Are they compatible with other laptops?

Edit: Forgot to add, the battery charging works as well.

Don't turn it on again. Open it up apply paste and 're-seat the cpu. It really should have shut down when thermal margin was hit.

Get some good quality paste. Your laptop should be fine plus I think it is a good idea to clean and 're-apply paste after years of use.

Maybe it's another part but i hope it's not a big and important part.

:Fingers crossed: If it doesn't start, do you think these laptop components are compatible with other laptops? I was thinking to sell them.
