I'm fairly new to computer building. I recently put a gtx 770 in my rig, and it was doing great for a while. I play pretty demanding games, like Battlefield 4. When the game wasn't optimized right I could play on about medium graphics with reasonable frames, and I could run it at high frames with ultra graphics after the game was updated and I overclocked a bit. I have the latest nvidia drivers and everything, but I get graphical glitches, low frames, and my "display driver" crashes when I try to run it on ultra. I use EVGA Precision for overclocking. GPU clock offset is at +122, and MEM clock offset is set at +557. I'm overvolting +12, and have frame rate target at 60.

16 gigs ram
2 tb HDD
Intel Core I-7 4770 @3.40GHz 3.40 GHz

Would you guys happen to know what my problem might be? Suggestions?

Might have too aggressive of an overclock on your GPU, have you ran benchmarks to see if these cause the same issues? When overclocking you should start from the base, and work your way up slowly until you start experiencing issues. Then drop it back acouple of notches and you should have a stable over clock.

I've toned the clocks down to 130 MHz and 500mhz and I don't seem to get the same green flickering and odd sparkles. I think those are the artifacts you're talking about? I get about 40 frames max with heaven on extreme settings, 1920x1080, and windowed. Is that about how my rig should perform?
