Would the FX 8120 Bottleneck a GTX 780 Lightning SC SLI? or maybe even triple SLI? bottleneck my video cards? and if it does which CPU should I get?

Thank you already for your feedback

Go Intel. The reason is not that Intel CPUs are much faster, it is that Intel platform has faster PCIe (the slot you connect video cards to the motherboard) and RAM transfers, increasing overall graphic performance. As far as I know there is no 3 SLI on AMD motherboards. Anyway, for SLI or XFire - go Intel.

The fx8120 isn't going to bottleneck a 780, period. If you want though, you can overclock that Cpu and get better performance too.

You will get better performance with Intel though, but there isn't a need to replace that motherboard/cpu just to go the Intel route, because at the end of the day, the performance gained simply isn't worth the money spent.

The FX 8120 is the first generation "Bulldozer" architecture for AMD that was ultimately a failure. It has terrible single core performance not matter what GHz it's running at. Even a FX 4300 would be an upgrade in gaming. An FX 6300 would be a lot better, and finally, either the FX 8320 or 8350 would be a huge upgrade.

Ohmy, so many mixed opinions, I was already planning on going intel the next time I am buying a CPU, but I just wanted to know if 2 or 3 GTX 780 Lightning SC GPUs are going to be molesting my momentare CPU. And for your sake Shneiky AMD doesn´t make Mobos for as far as I know they only make CPU chipsets. And I am getting an ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 but if a better CPU really is necessary then I will buy an intel compatible mobo with quadra SLI.

Thank you guys for your help!

WAIT! one last question
Which intel CPU should I get for triple SLI and superclocking and possible rendering?
i7 4770K?
