So I recently upgraded my computer, installed everything and had it all working before I went to work. When I came back, I tried booting it up but it'd only turn on for half a second before losing power, and then this would repeat until I unplugged the power.
I eventually moved the RAM from channel 0 and 2 to channels 1 and 3, and it started working again! No problems, for at least five hours. I turned it on the next day, and BAM, same god damn issue as before.
I took out the new RAM and replaced the old in the original channels, but I'm not sure if the same problem will occur again after I get home from work. I don't understand what could have caused this issue, considering it works SOME of the time.
For those who are interested, my specs are:
CPU: Intel Core i5 4570
Solid State Hard drive: Corsair Carbide Series 500R
Motherboard: ASRock Z87 Extreme3
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB
CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212
Graphics Card: GTX 570
PSU: Corsair 1000W
Any help would be much appreciated!
