I've just put a computer together and its all up and running but when I plug the the monitors vga cable into the video card vga port, the monitor stays blank. The fans on the video card are running. Everything seems the plugged in correctly.
The video card im using is a Gigabyte Geforce GTX 650 Ti
The Motherboard im using is msi 970A-G46

Does your pc have a defualt intergrated gpu?

In most cases if it does it will automaticly kick on after 30 seconds or so and give you long enough to install the dvd.

It does not have an intigrated gpu. And my monitor isnt picking up my graphics card. The fans on the graphic card are spinning. It might be that they arent recieving any power. The fans still run even when not plugged into the power supply.

Most motherboards will have some sort of video out, yours has a vga. Use that temporarily to install the drivers then switch over to your gfx card output.
