I'm building my first gaming computer and the only thing I need left is my graphics card. If needed I can include my specs so far. I need a graphics card for gaming that max is around $200 and is Radeon. There are so many different options and I'm not sure which to pick and I have lots of questions like..
What are stream processors and are they important?
Difference between core and effective memory clock? Which is more important?

If someone could help me out some or suggest a card I'd really appreciate it.

Why go for the r9 series cards ? They're actually rebranded HD 7xxx series cards and furthermore, the HD 7xxx cards come with free games. However, at that price range, Nvidia's GTX 660 would be a better deal since it comes with AC4 and splinter cell blacklist.

It would be great if you could post your full specs. But if you have already bought them, then nevermind.

The division would be about the highest requirement game I'm looking to run, other games being
Battlefield 4, planetside 2, titanfall(maybe)

Then the r9 270 is your best bet. Right at that price and the fastest for the sub $200 price range.

stream processor or shader unit or cuda as nvidia prefer to announce it and yes the higher is better you can't see higher card in the series for example 770 will have more stream processor than 760 and so on it's good in term of new games with these advanced option like shadow or phsyx or realistic effects

memory clock is the speed of which the card can access your memory . and core clock is the speed of your gpu processor that utilize task and they all important it's just you have come down to nice performance in each section because for example you don't want to end with a card that can access memory fast but holds less data or slow memory with large data , or card that has higher clock speed but less memory bandwidth

your best option is r9 270x or 270 and overclock it your self
