I want to have some psu extension cable in order to improve my cable management. But I have a little question,in the left of the top of the motherboard, there is a 8-pin cpu cable. So if I want to use extension cable on it, will 8-pin PCI-E extension cable work? Or I need a special one? Because I didnt find a 8-pin CPU cable extension.
Here is one, is it compatibility with 8-pin cpu cable?

Solution
The 8 pin CPU cable is the EPS cable, EPS is a server standard and that cable got integrated into ATX as CPUs started to need more power so that is the extension cable you need.

A PCI-e 8 pin extension cable shouldn't fit, EPS and PCI-e are keyed differently as the pin out is different so the extenders should be keyed differently as well to keep you from screwing up and getting the wrong cable in the wrong spot.

You mean the 8-pin EPS cable would be compatibility with it? What is the mean of EPS?:D

Well, thanks. You make realize what is the EPS cable. I was wondering why there are no 8-pin cpu extension cable on the catalogue in frozencpu.
