The ram I own is advertised at 1600MHz with a timing of 8-8-8-24. It's 2x4 ram, totaling to 8GB.

The timing was set to 11-11-11-28 by default and I managed to change it in the bios. But my question lies in the 802MHz.

Is the 802HMz per memory stick, totaling to 1600HMz? Or do I have to go into the bios and change it to 1600HMz

Here's a picture in Speccy: http://puu.sh/6hZLM.png

Solution
The transfer rate will be 1600MHz, the actual clock speed will be half that due to the DDR(double data rate) aspect. 802 MHz is an appropriate clock speed for 1600MHz memory, my 1333MHz is currently running at 668.9 MHz which corresponds to 1338 MHz(transfer rate)
